The Bluestack Way is a trail in northwest Ireland, county Donegal. In three days the trail brings you from Donegal to Ardara, from one sea inlet to the other. The first day the trail visits Lough Eske, with its tree lined roads and fields. Optionally a circular walk around this lake can be made. The second day the trail ventures into the lower parts of the open, rounded Bluestack Mountains. The third day the trail heads down to the coast, following Owenea river.
The trail passes through beautiful and varied scenery, with great views. Accommodation is available around Lake Eske and in the town of Glenties.
