"Royal Way", The Hague - Apeldoorn, 170 km

The trail starts and ends at a royal palace: Palace Noordeinde in The Hague, Palace Het Loo in Apeldoorn. Both structures are used by the Royal family. Apart from this - why walk 170 km to have a glimpse of two castles? - the interesting part is the landscape: the polders of the Groene Hart, the forests on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and the Veluwe. The entire trail is suitable for wheel chairs and hand driven wheel chairs, so maybe a bit too hard for the nature lover? The trail is created by the KNBLO. The marking is red-blue.
