Grand Beach Provincial Park - Old Pinawa Dam, 84 km (52 miles), 5 days

A nature trail through forests and rolling farmland of Manitoba, central Canada. The trail crosses the Boreal Shield, with its old rock formations, forests, lakes and rivers. One of them is the Winnipeg River. In the Belair Forest you might spot Moose and Great Grey Owls. The trail is multi-use (walking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, horseback riding) and is a section of the Trans Canada Trail.
