This walk circumvents the whole of the Isle of Wight, offering superb coastal scenery. Half of the island is designated as an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is not a difficult trail, and you can easily complete it in six days. The coast is varied, with rolling meadows, purple flowers in the north, white cliffs in the south and west. The historic villages along your path are interesting to explore. It tends to be busy in summer, but you might like the buzz of sailing boats and beach visitors. Bus services are good, so you can split your walk into stages, and include an extra inland trail as well.
