Somalia
Description
Located right on the easternmost tip of the Horn of Africa, Somalia shares borders with Djibouti, Ethiopia and Kenya. It has Africa's longest coastline, on the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean. The north of Somalia is the most mountainous, with ranges such as Cal Madow and Karkaar. The interior is mostly arid semi-desert changing to more humid tropical lowlands in the south.
Somalia has a number of national parks, such as Hargeisa and Kismayu. Momentarily, hiking possibilities appear to be non-existent.
